MORNING PRAYER That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, From: Ephesians 1:17-20 INSPIRATION The Holy Spirit is here called the Spirit of Wisdom, using a grammatical construction that in the Greek indicates the Spirit is the "source of" or "giver of" wisdom. In 2 Timothy 3:15, we learn that the Scriptures are "able to make you wise unto salvation, " When God opens our understanding to see the truth of the Gospel, he enlightens us and imparts to us wisdom to kno

MORNING PRAYER And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. From: 2 Peter 1:5-7 INSPIRATION Faith is a gift from God, but it is also a thing that we are called to diligently work at and improve. In fact, these verses on diligence are further informed by verse 10 of the same chapter where our diligence is said to be the means of making "our calling and election sure. That is, when faith, virtue (moral fortitude), knowledge (gained through experience), self-control, patient endurance, godliness, brotherly kindness, and love abound in our lives, it is fruit of righteousness that helps assure our hearts that indeed we are God's children and will enter his everlasting kingdom (verse 11). PRAYER Lord, we take seriously your command to strive diligently after godliness and all Christi

MORNING PRAYER But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. From: 2 Thessalonians 3:3 INSPIRATION There will be days when you are tempted and days when you need protection, but you are a child of God. God will never leave you or forsake you - you will never have to walk through these challenging times alone. He is always faithful. He offers his protection and will help you stay away from evil. He has given you his Holy Spirit as a guide. Trust the Spirit to alert you when you have stumbled into trouble and call on him for protection. PRAYER Dear God, when I am fearful and need courage, I know you will strengthen me. You are always faithful and you will never leave me - thank you! Help me to trust you to guide me through difficult situations and protect me from any evil the evil one tries to use against me. O Lord, make my faith stronger so that I do not have a spirit of fear. Thank you for rescuing me time and time again. In Jesus' name, amen.

MORNING PRAYER But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. From: 1 John 2:5-6 INSPIRATION It is not enough to simply hear God's word. We must obey the Word and use it as an instructional manual for how we should live our lives. When we follow the Lord's commands and live as Jesus did, others can tell we are different. This is how others know we are Christ followers -by the way we follow his teachings and put them into practice. If you are just listening to sermons and Bible verses but are not applying them to your life, you are not showing your love for God. PRAYER Dear God, I want others to know I put my faith in you and love you, so help mne to put my beliefs into action. You have given us the best example of love with the gift of your Son, Jesus Christ, and the Bible. Give me opportunities to show others your love by the way I liv

MORNING PRAYER Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation. From: Exodus 15:13 INSPIRATION Do you ever struggle with knowing where to go or what to do? You are not alone. It is common to feel unsure of what path to take, but the Bible is clear that God will guide those he has redeemed. In Exodus, God led the Israelites out of Egypt to the promised land. Like the Israelites, God leads us where he has called us. When we place Our trust in our redeemer, we will be led by him. Through redemption, we will one day enter into his holy kingdom. PRAYER Dear God, you have a special plan for my life. Help me to trust you to guide me where you want me to go. I am choosing to place my trust in you, My Redeemer. I know my eternal home is with you, but while I am on earth, please lead me. Give me discernment to see which path to take and how to serve you. Help me to depend on your strength to go where I am call

MORNING PRAYER And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts: I will go also. From: Zechariah 8:21 INSPIRATION We were all introduced to our savior, Jesus Christ, through someone else. When we truly understand salvation, it is not enough for us to simply receive it. In our excitement, we will gladly go tell others about this miraculous savior. The prophet describes how when a city came to know the Lord, they rushed to pray and seek God so that they could go to another city to share this good news. The Word tells us we are commissioned to tell others the good news - let us go quickly! PRAYER Dear God, thank you for loving us enough to send your son, Jesus Christ, to save us from our sins and offer us eternal life. Do not let us keep this amazing story to ourselves! Give us the courage and faith to go where you have called us - to our neighbors and to the ends of the earth - to share your good news

MORNING PRAYER Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to Come. From: Psalms 71:18 INSPIRATION The writer of this Psalm desperately wanted God to show His strength through him, an old man. He wanted everyone to know God's power. As we grow old, we can still show God's strength. As we become weaker, we can proclaim how strong He is. Do not lose heart as you grow old. The retired missionary now goes door to door to preach even though he's walking slowly. The woman who started doing jail ministry long ago is often decades later faithfully visiting the jail. Whatever God is calling you to, God is greater than your age. PRAYER Lord, as I grow old, let me still serve You faithfully. When I'm weak, help me to show others Your strength. Through wrinkles, let others see the joy on my face that comes only from You. Even if I'm moving slowly, let me still move for

MORNING PRAYER Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth. From: Psalms 71:9 INSPIRATION The first and second greatest commandments are to love God and love your neighbor as your self. It is not Christ-like to forget and neglect the elderly. If our neighbor is old, and we do not help them when they need help, how is that loving? When our own kin grow old, how can we love them the way Christ loves the Church? The people who are old are the ones who cared for us when we were young and helpless. It is our duty to care for them when they are old. PRAYER Lord, I pray for the older people who do not know You. I pray they will find Your love and joy. Let them lean on You for strength and understanding. Help them to smile and live out the remainder of their days for You. Get them the word if they don't have access to it. Bring Christians into their lives to speak life into them. You are the God who cares for the young and old, weak and strong, rich and

MORNING PRAYER Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged. From: Isaiah 6:6-7 INSPIRATION Isaiah was dirty and full of sin. He was unworthy to see God's holiness. Then the heavenly being took a hot coal from God's alter. He put it on Isaiah lips and his sins were taken away and cleansed. Similarly, Jesus cleanses us who have faith in Him. He cleanses us and He makes us pure. Jesus Christ is our only hope of salvation from our wickedness. He is the only way to the Father and to heaven. Do you have faith in Jesus to remove your sins? If you cannot confidently answer, think and pray about it. It is always better to be sure. It is okay to not be sure; there is no shame in that. Get on your knees and ask God to reveal Himself to You. Proclaim your faith in Him and give Him you

MORNING PRAYER He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ. And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone. From: John 1:41-42 INSPIRATION The first thing Andrew did when He found out Jesus was the Christ was to go tell his brother. Andrew went and got Peter and brought him to Jesus. Andrew could have been scoffed at or rejected by Peter if Peter did not believe Jesus was the Christ; yet, Andrew took him to Jesus anyways, and I'm sure he was glad he did. You have Jesus, and you love Him. Have you tried to bring your family to Him? Knowing Jesus is the only way to eternal life, wouldn't you want to try your best to introduce Him to your grandparents, mother, father, brothers, sisters, and cousins? PRAYER Heavenly Father, give me strength and courage to introduce You to my family. Th

MORNING PRAYER And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch, Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God. From: Acts 14:21-22 INSPIRATION Sometimes we grow weary as believers. Walking the road of faith gets hard. Other times it gets mundane. Sometimes doubt creeps in. We may even allow sin to fester in our lives and lead us to complacency and ceasing to listen to the Holy Spirit. But as believers, we can encourage our brothers and sisters to continue in the faith. Sometimes all someone needs is a reminder, encouragement, and support. PRAYER Heavenly Father, help my brothers and sisters. Give them strength and endurance to continue in the faith You called them to. Place people in their lives to encourage them. Bring them to a deeper love for You. Make them to feel Your presence this week.

MORNING PRAYER A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law. From: Isaiah 42:3-4 INSPIRATION Hundreds of years before Jesus was born, He was prophesied about. That He would restore and bring life not break and ruin. That he would bring forth judgment on the Earth, and people everywhere across the oceans would listen to what He had to say. Now thousands of years later, people all over the Earth still listen to what Jesus has to say. Jesus is glorified through all history. People on every continent and in every country listen for His voice and read His Word. PRAYER Father God, You sent Your son to the world to save us. He was with you in the beginning. People everywhere listen to His words. Jesus is amazing and true. Thank You for Your goodness, and that You build up and care for the weak. Help Your

MORNING PRAYER Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. From: Philippians 4:11 INSPIRATION When we reach a point of contentment, we are not moved by what another person does or does not have. Contentment prevents us from defining ourselves according to the world's values. We become content through God, in whom we know we have everything we need. Eternal life, being the most important of it all. PRAYER Dear God, I thank you that I can be totally content in you. You have filled all the gaps and voids in my life. I know that I will never find contentment in this world; only in you and you alone. I pray that more and more of your children will come to realize this too, Lord. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

MORNING PRAYER For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. From: Psalms 37:28 INSPIRATION The way of the wicked will lead them to spending life after death in damnation - far away from God. They will be cut off as a result of the choice they made to turn from God. As a Christian, you should not stop trying to convince them to choose otherwise. Pray for them continuously that the veil from their eyes will be removed and they will receive Christ in their lives. PRAYER Dear God, I pray for those who have chosen to turn from you. Lord, I pray that something in their hearts will make them change their minds about you. May they experience your love, Lord, in all its fullness and may they be compelled by this to know you more. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

MORNING PRAYER Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee: which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! From: Psalms 31:19 INSPIRATION The goodness that God pours out on His children is endless. God delights in showing mercy, giving |love, and expressing His goodness. For as long as we are part of God's children, we will always experience the goodness of God in our lives. PRAYER Dear God, I am grateful for your goodness that is always evident in my  life. I can never doubt that you are a good God and a loving Father, Lord. You show it to us every moment you get a chance to. I love you, Lord. In Jesus' name, I pra Amen.

MORNING PRAYER If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. From: 1 John 1:9 INSPIRATION Sometimes people tend to take God's love and everlasting mnercy as a way for them to continue living irresponsibly. When they are confronted about their actions, their response is "God loves me for who I am. " Yes, he does, but our love for Him should compel us to be convicted of our sins and confess them to him. God won't hold our sins against us; he is quick to forgive and swift to restore. PRAYER Dear God, once again I would like to thank you for your endless love and everlasting mercy. Father, I am sorry for any time I have taken you or your love for granted. If there has ever been a time where I tried to use the grace you have given so freely as an excuse to live irresponsibly, I humbly confess where I have erred, and I receive your forgiveness. In Jesus' nanme, I pray. Amen.

MORNING PRAYER I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. From: Galatians 2:20 INSPIRATION Because of what Christ did, we can confidently stand and say that we are in Him and He is in us. Though we live in our earthly bodies, our spirit has been regenerated. We have been redeemed. We have a glorious uture ahead of us, and it is by faith we believe this and continue to live out the will of God for our lives. We live a life of faith now, of total trust in our Savior, Jesus Christ, the Son of the Almighty God, our Father, who never stopped loving us and never will. PRAYER Dear God, our Heavenly Father, I just want to thank you for your endless love for me. You have been there for me far before I knew of you or even thought of coming to you. I will forever thank you for that precious act of love, where you gave up your Son so t

MORNING PRAYER Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. From: 1 Peter 5:6-7 INSPIRATION When we try to rush ahead of God's timing and His guidance, we will end up makinga lot of mistakes. We need to humble ourselves under God's guidance, realizing that He truly knows best. When we do so, we will reach the right points in our life at the right time. It's all about trusting Him. PRAYER Dear God, I thank you that when it comes to my life, you truly know best. Father, I pray that in times I may feel tempted to go my own way, or try rise on my own, may I remember that I am nothing without you. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

MORNING PRAYER He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth. From: Proverbs 10:17 INSPIRATION Correction, also known as instruction, is a key part of our lives. We will never know everything and there will always be people who will know better than we do. It is best for us to be humble in moments where we have gone wrong, and acknowledge the correction we need in order to make our errors right. If we choose to be proud, and adopt a know-it-all demeanor, we are only hurting ourselves. PRAYER Dear God, I know that there will be times in my life where I will make a number of mistakes. There will be times where the decisions I thought were right, will actually be wrong. Father, I ask for help to remain humble so that I can take correction from those around me May I be one to act on the correction I receive, so that I can avoid any unnecessary consequernces. This I pray, in Jesus' name. Amen.

MORNING PRAYER Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. From: Philippians 4:8 INSPIRATION We need to keep our minds focused on the things of God. Anything that encourages us to be loving, peaceful, just, patient, and pure, is of God. When we focus on these things, instead of the discouraging messages the world produces, we will produce them in our actions during our daily lives. PRAYER Dear God, there are so many messages that fly around in this world, and many of them aren't very encouraging. Lord, I thank you that I can focus on you and everything about you, because that is what keeps me sane and at rest. May my actions always be of you, Father. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

MORNING PRAYER Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. From: 1 Corinthians 15:51-53 INSPIRATION Our current bodies are corruptible and mortal - they can fall to death and any pain inflicted on them. But in the time of Christ's return, all believers who have died will be raised up, and those who are alive, will be given their immortal and incorruptible bodies. We may not know what we will look like, but we know that it will be glorious as God has promised us. PRAYER Dear God, I thank you that I can rejoice in all things because I know that what I go through in this body is merely temporary. Every pain, every sickness, and every infirmity are just signs of this fleshly body's weakness. But I am

MORNING PRAYER Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; From: 1 Corinthians 15:1 INSPIRATION We are to declare the gospel to anyone and everyone we can because it is in the gospel that one can find life. We aren't to be selfish with our salvation. It is a gift for all and it is our responsibility, as children of God, to ensure that all are able to come to the knowledge of God and become saved. PRAYER Dear God, I ask that in every situation that I amn in, may I find a way to preach your gospel to the people around me. May you supply me with the right words to say so that as the people hear, they will be moved to start a relationship with your Son, Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

MORNING PRAYER Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. From: Romans 8:26-27 INSPIRATION The Holy Spirit is also there to help us in times of weakness. There are times where we will not know what to say or how to pray. But we can rely on the Holy Spirit and ask Him to help speak for us when we are unable to find the words. He will surely help us and we will find comfort in that mnoment of need. PRAYER Dear God, I thank you that I can truly rely on and depend on you.   MORNING PRAYER Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. From: Psalms 37:5-6 INSPIRATION We will always come up with plans, dreams, ambitions and goals for the future. But we need to realize God is the only one who truly knows what's best for us. When you think of your life and your future, make sure that you commit your plans to God. Listen to what He tells you and make sure that you are following His guidance as you make decisions about your life. PRAYER Dear God, I commit all my plans, dreams, and aspirations into your hands. Lord I desire that my plans will be a reflection of your will for my life. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

MORNING PRAYER And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him. From: Acts 5:32 INSPIRATION The Holy Spirit serves as a witness to the things God has done through His Son, Jesus Christ. It is through the Holy Spirit we are able to testify of the good things God as done, as well as preach the message of Christ to the world. PRAYER Dear God, I thank you for the gift you gave me in the form of the Holy Spirit, your Spirit. Thank you, Lord, that because of your Holy Spirit, I am never away from you. Lord, I ask that I may remain attentive to the guiding and teaching of the Holy Spirit, through your word. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

MORNING PRAYER The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. From: Numbers 6:24-26 INSPIRATION God will never withhold a single good thing from his children- those who choose to walk with Him. He is the source of your peace and He is your protector. He will keep you to the very end. As you live your daily Christian life, be encouraged to know that your needs have been met and God is always with you and that will never change. PRAYER Dear God, thank you for your love that allows me to find everything I need in you. My mind is at rest because I know that you are with me and you will never leave me or forsake me. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

MORNING PRAYER And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also. From: 1 John 4:21 INSPIRATION The life we live, as Christians, is not just about focusing on what we have received. It is also about what we give. We are not to selfishly sit on this free gift we have received and only be concerned about our selfish interests. We are commanded to exercise the love we have received, by being loving towards others as well. God expects us to reenact the love he expressed towards us, to the people we come across in our daily lives. PRAYER Dear God, I desire to express the |love you have given me to my fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord. Father, help me to be attentive to their needs and their struggles so I can be a helping hand, ready to assist wherever I can. May I never be influenced or carried away by my selfish desires, Father. This I pray, in Jesus' name. Amen.

MORNING PRAYER Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. From: 1 John 4:11 INSPIRATION The clearest sign that we truly love God is when we love one another. As Christians, we are called to be loving towards our brothers and sisters in Christ, because our bond is what strengthens our faith. We cannot afford to accommodate any strife or division because the enemy will be quick to take advantage of such. PRAYER Dear God, I ask that in everything I do, may I express the love you have for your children and for the world. May I never be tempted to become judgmental towards anyone; I ask that I will only be concerned with loving everyone around me. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

MORNING PRAYER But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. From: Psalms 1:2 INSPIRATION As a Christian, you have been called to live a higher life - a life of holiness and righteousness. Stick to the Word of God and make sure that you apply it in every part of your life. There is no joy walking in disobedience; remember who you are in Jesus Christ and continue to focus on Him. Pray for those you know who are walking in disobedience and make an effort to preach to them. PRAYER Dear God, I put my trust in you and you alone. May my life be an expression of your love, your holiness, and your righteousness. I pray that I will remain focused on your Word, Lord, because in your Word there is life. Thank you, Lord, for keeping me and helping me in times where I am tempted to go astray. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

MORNING PRAYER For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endu to all generations. From: Psalms 100:5 INSPIRATION God is good and that will never change. It who He is. Time and time again we are reminded in the Bible, God's Word, that his mercy is everlasting. It will never expire. It will never forsake us. God's mercy is there for us every single day. It is because of God's mercy, we have the confidence in Him that we have. God's word will always reign supremne for an eternity to come. PRAYER Dear God, in this world there are so many people, organizations and corporations the enemy is trying to use to speak against you and who you really are. But I know the truth and I know that no other word, apart from yours, will last for ages to come. As much as the enemy will try, he will never be able to successful breed doubt about who you are, in the minds of every man. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
